A smoking ban... in Syria!? {Gadling}

Apr 26th 2010 1:09AM If you ban smoking, you should ban McDonald's and a whole slew of junk food peddlers. While you're at it, impose mandatory aerobics classes for citizens, require that they drink 8 classes of water daily, and shut down Coca Cola. And that issue of "public health" may be alleviated by actually providing health care to the public instead of letting the poor souls languish without means to pay for preventative care until their conditions demand emergency attention.

Is Levi Johnston a Deadbeat Dad? {ParentDish}

Jan 24th 2010 7:04PM His celebrity epitomizes the double standard our society has. She stays home to care for a baby - with the help of her family, I'm sure - while he becomes a sexy bachelor/model.

Yeah he's deadbeat dad, and he shouldn't get to be famous because he knocked up a politician's daughter and left her to be a single parent. He should be chided for shirking his responsibilities.

The movie was wretched. A lonely, neglected child acts out inappropriately and journeys to a far away land of personality-disordered, issue-laden monsters who are physically and verbally abusive as well as self destructive. Maybe if REM's
"Everybody Hurts" was the theme song, it might have at least made some sense. I left the theater craving Prozac.

Chubby Celebrities - Do They Make Us Fat? {That's Fit}

Jul 6th 2009 1:54PM This is total bunk. You can count the number of celebrities over Size 4 on ONE hand. "Overweight" should be seen as normal because it is normal for many many people.
