Jul 8th 2012 2:36PM first no one cares about the bible study really, he cross the line with the large group of people. 15 people parking in my neighbor hood all the time would suck and piss me off, parkings tough in my little shore town. if your groups that big, rent a hall or something. the additional joke is the dozen law enforcment to raid his place for code violations. I worked in building departments and the last few years engineering inspections and gone into tough hoods and the most protection I was ever proveded was 4 cops in two cruisers, the country continue's to spiral...

May 19th 2012 2:23PM I am with Alex the repair lineman, I do high rise facade inspections and the risk is what you make of it, you use your head...harnessed in or not, if the thermals rise up a building face and the swing moves off the building 6 feet or the wind picks up out of no where and blows the rig crazy,it adds another silver hair to my head but you keep your cool.
A micro burst of wind and one of those guys flew off, you would of seen that other guy in the walkway! Fast!

Jun 14th 2010 5:47PM I've been in construction 35 years, where do you go and renovate a unit in 10 days with permits and inspections, delays...looks mostly cosmetics, replace like with like, such as tile, plumbing fixtures, paint some new lights, not hard at all...it's not like they gutted the place, all the cabinets stayed because the are covered with red rosin paper...may be took a wall down with out the building department knowing, but come on...here in jersey 20 days maxminum for plan review, so you would be lucky to get plan review and approval for all 4 subcodes-plumbing, electrical, building and fire ...a lot of fluff here
