Aug 26th 2011 3:36PM Oh yeah, this is a great idea- for everyone except future mortgage seekers. If the banks lose money on their present mortgages, they will be reluctant to grant any new ones, unless the get a higher rate of return to match the risk involved. Also, they are going to demand a higher down payment. Can you imagine what it's going to be like to have to come up with 40-60% of a houses value to buy it? Just like the National debt, this is buying goodies for this generation's benefit on our children's (and Great grandchildrens) credit card. To those who lose their homes I suggest next time, buy a house you can afford

Jun 17th 2010 3:29PM It's called "situational awareness" and if you are a male in this country you better have it. Know what is going on around you at all times. Ask yourself, "How will this look to an observer" and "what are the dangers?" I teach children in church. I am NEVER alone with a child. I never initiate a hug or touch. I am never alone in a bathroom with any child ever anywhere. If I come in and a child is in the bathroom alone I do a fast u and wait til they come out.I do not start a conversation to a child unless I know them and a parent is with them. It's sad it has to be that way, but it is what it is. Oh, yes, and I play Santa at Christmas.

Apr 14th 2010 2:48AM Back in the day, I found laundramats the perfect place to meet women. If they weren't washing any men's clothes, they were single. No kid's clothes, no kids. You had to be there for so long and doing laundry is boring, so starting a conversation was easy. And if she had six pairs of granny panties and one pair of lacy bikini panties(This is pre thong)you wanted to be with her on Saturday night.LOL :D Now, with the wisdom of experience I would advise a young man if you want a skank go to a bar, if you want a gal pal go to a social function, if you want a wife, go to church. (Although to be honest, the biggest nympho I ever ment in my life I met in church, but that was a different time. I'd say now you'd be safe to find your true love in church.)

I wish I had your optimism, but I see a slate of democratic candidate4es for congress promising "This time we'll be good, not like last time when we got elected by promising to be more conservative than the democrats and then voted in lockstep with Nancy and Harry-- honest, this time we'll be really conservative." Along with some real pretty speeches from Obama that will cause tingles to go up everybody's leg and Nancy and Harry throwing pork by the train car load and they'll have gains, not loses in the congress- and I pray to God Almighty I am wrong, but I just don't think so. By the time America wakes up well be in Wiemar Germany, and people will make Obama president for life, thinking government handouts are their only hope.
