Jan 29th 2010 8:00PM We all make mistakes and are human. The guy directed The Passion of the Christ, for goodness sake... You don't think he'd harbour a bit of resentment towards Jews after directing a movie where Jews were responsible for the torture and death of one of the most gentle, loving, wise and compassionate humans that ever walked the face of the planet (a wonderful man who was also a Jew himself, by the way, and who Mel Gibson apparently loves)? Mel Gibson is a self-indulgent ham royale sandwich, but I love his movies, especially all the Lethal Weapon ones, and Road Warrior. He may have said some stupid things after having one too many drinks, but I don't think this guy was exactly responsible for the holocaust. The guy is one heck of an entertainer. These idiots who are writing all these hateful things about him are no better than what they accuse him of. Forgive and forget and appreciate the talents God gave this man, even though he has flaws. Who doesn't???

Jan 28th 2010 11:40PM I'd rather eat foods that I actually enjoy - mostly Thai and Japanese - than to constantly worry about calories, "points", and all the other bothersome details that take away the pleasure of dining and make it into a tedious, unenjoyable and unrewarding task. Eating is supposed to be the 2nd greatest thing in life next to sex. I'd rather live a shorter life of culinary glee than live long enough to wear diapers in a nursing home, then have to count my calories there while trying really hard to remember who you are. Try some Thai yum woon sen sometime instead of these processed worms that seem to have been the result of some laboratory experiment gone wrong. If prepared the traditional Thai way - yum woon sen has very few calories, yet it is heaven on the palate.

Jan 27th 2010 2:12PM McDonald's already sucked when they stopped using beef squeezings in their french fry cooking fat to appease Hindus, and started using meat kept in steamers for burgers instead of patties fresh off the grill, but this story really takes the cake. I will never eat there again, and I have 5 kids, so that's a family of 7+ that will never eat there again. Very sorry to Lauren McClusky that some of her charity money will end up being used to pay legal expenses, but in the long run she will end up with much more money for charity because of all of the publicity in her favor. I salute you Lauren McClusky. YOU are what America is all about, and McDonald's has become ANTI-America, soiling its own image, and giving the world a horrible example of corporate greed and bullying.

Jan 26th 2010 10:22PM Kind of reminds me of that show, Tribal Odyssey, where the women really let it all hang out. If women want to go around with their privates exposed for the whole world to see on television - then why not let them? It would make the world a much more interesting and culturally diverse place. It would also make women's tennis something that I might actually consider watching. Heck... I applaud her for doing something interesting to promote an otherwise very boring sport to watch. Watching sports - as opposed to playing them - is dumb to begin with. It's like watching someone else play pinball or World of Warcraft on television... woo hoo!
