Jul 19th 2010 10:28AM If noone has paid taxes and kept up the building in all those years, then noone has the right to claim the only good part of the building now. If someone is proven to be the owner of this property, give them the wall back once they clean up the mess that they have left and pay the taxes and penalties for leaving this abandoned building for others to deal with! Otherwise, have the city sell the wall and use the proceeds to knock down the building and clean up the area.

Jun 21st 2010 10:37AM This thing is a piece of crap. I tried it and got nothing. Worked with it for quite a while trying to get it to work...to no avail. I then unplugged it from my phone and the phone would only work on speaker mode. Could not talk on my phone like normal, only through the speaker. Took my phone in and it could not be repaired. This stupid item cost me a lot more than the 9.95 price tag because I had to get a new phone. Buyer Beware - NEVER BUY THIS!

I can tell you that my teenager would never speak of "beating the crap" out of some adults or he would get more than the beating of his life! He has respect for adults, even though he does not always agree with them, and he will always show the respect that adults deserve!!! Take notes and you might live a happier teenage life.

Apr 27th 2010 3:01PM It is good that the school sent 2 copies of the dress code home with the students but it also should have stated that anyone who violates this code will not be allowed into the event. If you allow the kids into the event, you have no authority to punish them a week later.
I do agree that corporal punishment should be allowed back into the classroom for disruptive and abusive behavior. However, a school prom is a social gathering and you just don't let the kids that break the rules into that gathering.

Mar 24th 2010 9:14PM I don't care if you think these executives deserve that much pay, the government has no right to come in and regulate salaries of a private company. You certainly would not like some outsider coming in and saying that your $25/hour is too much for the job you are doing and you will not get paid that or ever make more than that.
If a private company cannot afford to stay in business, the government should not hand out OUR money in the form of bailouts. Then the company can run the way it should be run, by the owners, and they can spend any money that they have until it runs out or they find a different way to survive. Big Brother has gotten out of control and we need to take America back!

You are such an idiot! Of course you are forced to participate in Social Security and Medicare - why do you think all of that SS and Medicare money is taken out of your paycheck every month. It is another form of taxation that forces us to pay for all of the government handouts!!! As for adding all of these hidden agendas into bills that have nothing to do with that subject, this needs to stop. If a bill needs to be added, it needs to be dealt with separately (all bills), making Congress actually do their jobs! We are fed up and real "change" is coming SOON!

Mar 10th 2010 9:45AM I was 19 when I married my husband (who was 20). We had dated for almost 4 years and celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last December. It was difficult at some times, like going to school at night after working all day, working different shifts and 2 jobs to make ends meet but you appreciate everything more when you have had to work for it. We are happily married with 2 children and love every aspect of our lives. I stay home with the children, we have our own business and we are happier than we ever thought we would be 21 years ago. I get tired of people saying that "they are too young". If you are willing to put the effort in (at any age) then you will reap the rewards!

Do you think that those baggage handlers would be throwing their own $3500 guitars around? You says that it was his guitar that was broken and nothing that cannot be replaced...Exactly! It can be replaced but United would not step up and take responsibility for their actions and replace what they broke. I would hope that if you ruined something of someone else's that you would step up and be a man buy paying for your actions. By your comments, something tells me that you would not!
It is time that, we as consumers command respect from the companies that need us for their livelihood. We pay for service and should expect no less that GOOD service!
