Jun 27th 2009 9:58AM Don't feel sorry for me. I live in the Detroit area, and I love it. I will never leave. I feel sorry for all the people in this country that think Detroit (or the Detroit area) is the worst place to live. We have many faults, this I agree with, but there are many reasons our area is a great place to live.

Jun 27th 2009 9:56AM I happen to live outside Detroit, work in the city, and while I do know we have MANY problems, I LOVE it here. I will never leave. While I realize there is bad here, there is so much good as well. Yes, I acknowledge there are better cities, but this is MY city, where I grew up, where I've lived my whole life, and I'm very glad and blessed to be here!
