Jul 28th 2007 1:28AM I've used these when flying a plane, but I've discovered an even more handy way when driving: Use zip-locks. The quart size works well. When driving and can't find a rest room, I pull over and use the Zip-Lock, reseal it, and put it in a trash container or pour it down a toilet first chance I get.
It's also very handy inside a tent on a cold night. No need to leave the warm tent. Just use the Zip-Lock, throw it outside the tent, empty it in the morning, and put the empty into my trash bag. They are light, so you can carry many, and don't have to clean anything, just discard.
There is a special spout for women that covers the genital area and comes to a smaller opening that will fit into any vessel. These are found at camping supplies. One brand is called the "Lady J". That device plus a nice, thick paper towel to wipe afterwards will relieve any woman who is in an awkward environment.
In my plane, we had a similar device that drained into a tube emptying into a reservoir for the women. Accompanying it was a brown grocery bag that had printed on it "PRIVACY CURTAIN--Place over head when using the urinal". So, you see, all the comfort of home!

Mar 18th 2007 7:12PM I lived in extreme south Texas for 30 years,and although I love the Hispanic people, their language, and their culture, more than one national language divides a country. Furthermore, if they don't like the US as it is, they should go back to Mexico. Don't import your 3rd world way of thinking here. Come here and learn our culture and our language, or go back.
Absolutely no citizenship should be conferred upon any foreigner unless the person is fluent, very fluent in English. This country was not made great by the Spanish language, or the Spanish speaking people, or by the ways of any of the Spanish speaking countries. Most of us who were born and raised here strongly resent you thinking about changing this country to your standards. You didn't make this country what it is. Love it or leave it.
I strongly believe that it should be made illegal to print ballots or any other material in anything but English. Catering to the Spanish language simply makes it easier for them not to learn English.
The reason we have such a conflict now over the issue is that it was not met with strict discipline when the very first immigrants arrived from the south. They could get by with Spanish, so they did. Now they want everybody to learn Spanish, or at least to have everything printed and spoken in both languages. It is high time to put a stop to this nonsense. No way, Jose.

Sep 3rd 2006 7:25PM I agree 100% with PJzaBruin. Why should I spend money in places that don't like Americans? Perhaps they'd feel differently about us if they'd had to pay for us liberating them in WWII. As it is, it was free, and they despise us. America has all the great places I ever care to go.
