Sarah Palin: Levi Welcome at Thanksgiving Table; Johnston Declines {ParentDish}

Nov 14th 2009 10:20AM I can't believe the low intellectual caliber of these comments, and the low Christian charity they portend.

Don't you people have your own lives, rather than spending time making invidious comments about low-lifes like Johnson, or the private lives of the Palins--which are none of your business?

Johnson is wallowing in his 15-minutes of "fame" now. But in a year or two he'll probably get shot in a drug deal gone wrong--and those two events will be the high-water mark of his sordid life. What a pathetic legacy--and to you numb-nuts--he's a "star."

CVS to pay $875,000 to settle allegations the chain was selling expired products {WalletPop}

Nov 11th 2009 4:01PM Another scam is the use of the word "fresh."

"Fresh" to us mean recently picked or baked; to manufacturers, it mean "not stale." Guarenteed fresh or your money back, the label says--and you see that the sell-by date is 18 months out.

AK-47 Inventor Honored As Russian Hero {Asylum}

Nov 11th 2009 3:52PM Just like the liberal wimps at AOL to denigrate what is perhaps the best designed gun ever made. The AK-47 is still manufactured all over the world. It will accept U.S. M-16 bullets, but we cannot use AK-47 bullets. It's main claim to fame is its extreme reliability: it will shoot under the worst conditions of dirt, lack of cleaning, etc. The U.S. M-16 is a nice, prissy rifle that must be cleaned every ten minutes or it will jam.

Plane Torn Apart Over Lost Cell Phone {Switched.com}

Oct 21st 2009 11:21AM Of course this moronic news service is not going to tell you whether they FOUND the cell phone or not. Don't want to over-burden the dim-wit public with too much information...

Muslim teen sues Abercrombie over its 'Look Policy' {BloggingStocks}

Sep 21st 2009 4:47PM I'll bet this clever girl is playing the lawsuit lottery. She was put up to apply for the job knowing that she would be rejected. And planning to sue all along.

Not this is not any reflection on her freedom to wear whatever she wants--just not as a clerk at Abercrombies.

If she wins, then Chinese restaurants will no longer be able to only employ Chinese waiters, the Catholic Church will no longer be able to force nuns to wear habits. So how is this different than school uniforms?

Sanctimony rules!

Jimmy Carter Leaves Church Over Treatment of Women {Politics Daily}

Jul 20th 2009 5:58PM

Hey, that sounds great. What's so bad about Islam, anyway...?

Formula One Head in Hot Water for Remarks About Hitler {Fanhouse Motorsports Blog}

Jul 6th 2009 10:16AM It's impossible to say anything postive about Hitler without having the Jewish mafia send out their hit men. You can be an Evolution denier, a Jesus Christ denier, but it's against the law to be a holocaust denier? Let's keep religion out of politics and allow idiots to say whatever they want without trying to settle science and history in court.

Wired Editor Cribs From Wikipedia in New Book {Switched.com}

Jun 26th 2009 4:14PM If you want to see how "accurate" Wikipedia is, just check out the bio of someone who is "controversial."

Check out David Irving's bio, for example. Not only is it a masterful hatchet job (there being hardly a single unvarnished compliment) but the entire thrust of it is first to promote the religious claims of the Jewish zelots who guard his entry, and only second to mention in passing that he is a WW-II historian and author of THIRTY books on the subject.

As proof, try to make a SINGLE change, such as adding in the box that Irving is an historian, and not only a holocaust denier.

THE NEXT DAY that entry will be deleted and the original verswion restored.

Banish Bad Breath! {AOL Hot Searches}

Apr 23rd 2009 11:41AM Here is a secret method: First, brush your teeth witha toothpaste that contains triclosane--a chemical that helps cure gum problems (according to Consumer Reports).
Then, don't spite out the toothpaste foam. instead, floss with the foam still in your mouth, and drive it up into the crevices.

When you do spite out the foam, it will be clotted with all the detritus your toothbrush didn;t get--and it will be a lot! After a couple of days, your breath will rarely smell again.

Did Faith Hill Lip Sync at the Super Bowl? {The Boot}

Feb 4th 2009 6:59PM If lip-synching is OK, is body-snyching next? I mean, why do the singers actually have to be there in the flesh? They could as well be holograms. And why stop at actual holograms of the singers? They could even be gussied up by a video version of PhotoShop.

Get real people: TALENT is what we want to see, uncertain outcome is what we want to see. And that mean L-I-V-E, IN-PERSON, REAL.

Hollywood is full enough of fakers, charlatans, con-artists, lip-synchers, and the like, we shouldn't excuse this disgusting avoidance of performing in the flesh with lame comments like--"Oooh, it was chilly."

(BTW, did these performers lower the fees because they weren't actually singing?)
