Feb 11th 2011 6:25PM A friend of mine had a fall that required surgery to correct all the shattered bones in her ankle. She was wearing "just" 3-inch heels. As luck would have it, a foot injury I sustained in college prevents me from wearing any heel. Even a slight heel (above about an inch) is painful. I can only imagine what these feel like after just a short while - even in a normal foot!

Jan 19th 2011 4:45PM I wish I had known that hotels don't just toss items of little monetary value, as I assumed. It's too late to retrieve, now, but I left a special rosary (which had been a gift) in a hotel room. I would have liked to have gotten that back. Hopefully someone is enjoying it. I just assumed the hotel was too big and busy to care.

Jul 21st 2010 7:21PM Well, apparently what you have been "told" about Roman Catholicism is wrong. Not only are Catholics encouraged to read the bible, many churches have bible studies. That's only one of the lies you may believe about the Catholic Church. Perhaps a little inquiry of your own, rather than hearsay, and you'd discover that Catholics agree with much, if not all of the REST of your post. Surprise!

I think for me it was hoping for it and expecting it, and wondering what the proposal would be like... it was sort of a let-down when all those questions got answered! It was also not at all like I expected. And now, with wedding planning in full swing, I'm just wishing all that could be over and move on to the next stage. It would be nice to just enjoy where I am.
