'Barefoot' Backfire: Make-a-Wish Kid Turns Ina Down {PopEater}
Apr 1st 2011 12:19AM My wife and I, who are avid watchers of Ina's programs, will no longer be her fans. We cannot believe this New England Socialite doesn't have a heart but we're not surprised. Some poor little hispanic kid from Texas with cancer isn't enough for her. It has to be some rich socialite Jewish kid with a bruised knee for her to care enough. Sorry Ina, we're throwing your cookbooks out avoiding your show.
Explosive Danger {MyDaily}
Jul 15th 2010 2:58PM Even the most intelligent people sometimes lack common sense. This kid was out for the thrill of the moment not realizing that his whole life would be affected. Speaking of the thrill of the moment, the same goes for teenage pregnancies. One little explosive moment and your whole life changes, dreams are sidetracked, others are affected and many people are hurt. No one ever thinks about the domino effect of our actions. I bet his parents have gone through sheer hell.
Men's Wedding Bands {Shopping Articles Blog}
Jun 5th 2010 3:03PM Observation: I've noticed that the flashier the wedding bands and the tackier the wedding ceremony or huge overdone weddings, the sooner the date of divorce. Look around and see if this observation applies around you. It seems that couples who are out to convince others of how much in love they are are the first one to fall out of love. Keep it simple folks.....marriage is not meant to be a corporate merger.
Weather Channel vs. Dish Network: Storm Warning for Viewers {AOL TV}
Jun 2nd 2010 1:38PM I quit watching the Weather Channel about two years ago when it became more commercials than weather reporting. We were in the midst of terrible storms and tornado warnings but the weather channel was too busy broadcasting commercial after commercial. The local stations were reporting non-stop so that was the end of the Weather Channel for us. Now I don't have fear of Jim Cantore showing up in my neighborhood. LOL
What's That Song From the AT&T Commercial With Olympic Speed Skater Apolo Anton Ohno? {Spinner}
Feb 28th 2010 11:58AM Someone tell me the composer of M Asada's music in her silver medal routine, please. Is it Mahler? I've got the music in my head going round n round......
Can You Lose Weight on the Taco Bell Drive-Thru Diet? {That's Fit}
Dec 30th 2009 4:56PM Taco Bell is the grossest pseudo Mexican food ever created. In Texas the only people who eat at Taco Bell are transplants from the Northern or Eastern states. Their flour tortillas are too thick and whoever heard of sticking a taco inside a gordita? that is the sickest combo; analogy, would you stick biscuits n sausage between two slices of bread? Their gorditas are anything but gorditas.....the carb content of any menu item at TB is enough to send anyone into a coma. Our city of 2 1/2 million only has two TBs and even that's too much.
David Letterman Apologizes To His Wife: 'I Got My Work Cut Out for Me' {PopEater}
Oct 5th 2009 10:05PM At your age, you'd think you'd have brains enough to settle down and focus on your son and wife. You're gonna die a bitter old man....all alone.....and you deserve it. Now it's time for all the other comedians to make jokes about you....the tables are turned.
Whole Foods drama continues: Unions join in fight against CEO {Daily Finance}
Aug 28th 2009 4:35PM It's a sad day in America when a person cannot practice free speech. As Americans we must respect everyone's right to speak their mind. It is guaranteed to everyone of us by the Constitution. If you don't like what anyone says then avoid that person or his business establishment but to actually protest his right to say it is paving the road towards Fascism.
Let's be Americans and grant free speech as we expect it. Respect one another and one another's political views and religious views. R E S P E C T !
Your daily Burj Dubai update {Gadling}
Aug 16th 2008 3:36PM soaring skyscrappers in Dubai? With acres and acres of empty space why these skyscrappers? It doesn't make sense.....spread out and make tropical centers with domes full of green vegetation and water... This is ridiculous.
What Is Your Favorite Brand of Liquor? {AOL Hot Searches}
May 16th 2008 6:45PM Here's an easy mix and borders on the Margarita. Take one can of frozen limeade....whatever size you want....pour the frozen mix into a blender that is half full of crushed ice. Fill the empty can of Frozen limeade with your favorite Tequila. Mine is Mexico's favorite, Hornitos. Turn the blender on and frappé until it is a slush....if it's too thick, add a bit of water. Sample....if the tequila taste is too strong for you then drop sliced strawberries into the blender and frappé some more until you get it down to "wimp" level....hahahahaha, but it's great without the berries, nevertheless. By the way, this drink is called a BORDER SLUSH in Texas. Enjoy
