Backpacking through Europe: The basics {Gadling}

Jun 24th 2009 1:50AM Hey Justin - wow, what an awesome article! I am about to head off to europe tomorrow for a 3 month backpacking holiday and wish I had found this article earlier!! I had little time to plan for my holiday and was concerned as everyone seemed to book accomodation before they left their home country and I have a rough outline of plans and certain deadlines for family visits/tours etc but no time/detailed plans. The idea of booking from the town before is perfect and should suit my needs exactly.
