Dec 12th 2008 6:32PM I beleive in the 1970's my dad did have a few of the $1000 dollar bills and the way older people save old bills and coins I think it would be impossible to destroy all that was made!
Thank heaven there really are honest people left that return and dont keep! at this amount it would of been nice for the woman to get some sort of reward! bless her for being honest

my 4 kids are grown and I have 5 grandaughters. I hate to see people do without having kids!

Oct 6th 2008 8:49AM If the government passes a law to hear peoples phone conversations they will hear alot about themselves! They are slowly turning this in to a communist country. Invasion of privacy! thats what it is.
just like you can put your address in and see your own home or someone your related to from satellite on the computor.
There is too much going on now that never used to be and the real crooks are the ones in office.
Just like what is going on with the economy! most people today grew up different than we did in the 1960's! we were not used to all the luxury people have today and we appreciated more what we did have. Now people dont appreciate what they have had.

You talk about "Hillary Haters" In the past, say 10 years ago! None of her TV apperances impressed me.
Then years later, If found the Clintons were related to my ex-husbands family and now I know its "All in the Family". They are a disgrace!

Im on your side, I used to shop the old walmart. I liked it better. I live off Merrill and the superwalmart is the one I quit. There are alot of issues with that store and I know quite a few people who actually drive out of there way to other stores to shop rather than go to it.

Oct 30th 2006 10:55PM I just started and quit working for walmart. I was shocked at the lanquage the employees scream out at each other while customers were trying to shop. Foul language. I know they are working to clean up the store but it was more headache than it was worth. Target was never a store I liked at all. So I hope in the future there will be someone else open with new ideas.

Oct 27th 2006 12:40AM back again, I think its amazing! That alot of women are changing and looking better than I remember when I was a kid. I think people lived even harder then, than they do now and it aged them faster. I remember my grandmother and her family well and try to remember what they looked like then compared to the people that are now in there 50's. There is a difference. A different frame of mind, different lifestyle, different dress.
I wouldnt think of dressing the way my grandmother did at 50. Ive never gone with the fashions over the years. It would of put me broke trying to keep up!
I dont have to dye my hair yet! And wont until it does gray! Im surprised at the young people that do it to there hair. If it isent broke dont fix it! I guess thats my attitude. However at the same time Im not saying it looks bad. Im saying whats wrong with the way it was.
I guess Im surprised at how people base their life on style and fashion.
I dont judge people by this! I try and look at the person inside- what kind of sole are they! what kind of heart!

Im amazed that people distinquish 40's & 50's with the ancient and decreped.
Even my grown children think that way sometimes! I wonder who brought the styles out were the pants fall past the rear! I just left a job because the women that worked where I was working were starting this trend. I never seen anyone in a department store in a thong! these stories crack me up! how close do you look at the customers! Its irrelevant!

Oct 26th 2006 11:46PM Mandy, I should add my daughter dresses appropriate and so do I. We both have different tastes! she works in an office where you dress up! so she is more in to style! Im a forklift operator and still love wearing the levi style I grew up with! I dont call my dress in appropriate at all and neither is hers! Our lines of work make us different. not older looking.
