Dec 21st 2012 6:36AM All I have to say is...easier said then done. No matter what laws there are these tragedies will still happen. Lanza did not own a gun he killed his mother (a law abiding citizen) and stole her guns.

Dec 21st 2012 6:20AM I think I am being realistic when I say if guns are outlawed then only criminals would have them as criminals do not abide by laws. If Victoria Soto had a gun there might not have been any children killed. I do believe that there should be background checks done for people buying guns and a waiting period before they can buy them. I for one do not like guns and as of now do not own one. I also think there should be mandatory classes on safety for gun owners and for anyone in the household of a gun owner.

May 5th 2011 4:39PM What these kids are doing is nothing like what we are doing. These kids are a group of kids that are doing it over and over again non-stop saying very bad things to a child. You can not even compair the two.

May 5th 2011 3:23PM @Gigi - Bullying has changed and has reached a new level. When I was younger and was being bullied, if it was a really bad group of bullies about 20 - 30 kids knew about it, now it is is all over the media and with social networking it is all over the school or community. I believe it has gotten way out of hand, and the bullies need to be punished so they get the message that it is not acceptable. At this point in time adults and children are getting away with more than ever without any consequences, and this has to change. I believe a lot of adults, are not doing good for their children, as they have never grown up themselves.

Her children are well taken care of. Her children admire her for what she was, and feel blessed to have had her as a mother. Do your homework before you start shooting your mouth off.

Mar 30th 2011 1:49PM Jan, her children are fine, they are not, or need to be greedy. She was a great woman, mother, friend, aunt and whatever else. Elizebeth said her jewels would be "scattered around the four corners of the world." You have to read more than one article to get all the information. She had a very loving family.
