Obamas visit Acadia National Park this weekend {Gadling}
Jul 17th 2010 11:07AM What is Granite Mountain? I think you might have the wrong name in there, there's no such mountain at Acadia... I believe you mean Cadillac Mountain (it's made of granite...)
Top ten things not to forget on a trip {Gadling}
Oct 20th 2009 1:11PM You might want to clear up converters vs. adapters. One actually steps up or down the voltage (converters), and the other just changes the shape of the prong (adapters). Unless you are bringing stuff like a razor or hair dryer or straightener, you probably only need an adapter.
For everything that has a 'brick' or transformer (either on the part that plugs in or along the cord itself), look on it and see if it says something like "110v-230v". If it does, all you need to do is use an adapter, which runs typically much cheaper than a converter, because the transformer will do the voltage conversion for you.

Jun 21st 2009 12:24AM Check the comments on the original post... their stats/math are off. Using the data provided, the 3GS is 20% faster than the Pre and 120% faster than the 3G... i.e more than 2x faster. As for the 3GS vs. the Pre, what takes four seconds on the 3GS takes 5 seconds on the Pre.
