What should be happening is this... both of you should change the oil, mow the lawn and garden, as well as cook dinner, clean the toilet, make the beds, etc. It shouldn't be one or the other. You should always do things together and talk to each other, not at each other.

Feb 8th 2011 1:59PM It is quite simple. Many married women would love to stay home, raise the children, cook, clean and enjoy that life. The problem is that the children grow up and move out, hubby leaves her for the secretary or whomever he has been having an affair with, and she is left with nothing! She has no skills outside that home. If the husband would not have those affairs and always love and want to be with his wife, many married women would be happy to stay home. But, alas, women have to look out for themselves because no one else will. Career first and everything else second or be doomed to live in the poor house for the rest of her older life. That's life today.

Well, how about this... I was told, by someone that worked at Exxon, that the so called "Oil Crisis" in the 70s, was not true (that is when they lowered the speed limit to 55mph.) There were barges and barges full of oil located up and down the Mississippi River. And, we really didn't know what was hidden in the reserves or how much oil was in other ports around the country. Then, when the price of gasoline rose to where the oil and gas companies wanted, the oil crisis was gone. Go figure.

Oct 20th 2010 4:46PM I know everyone loves Maple Syrup and I do too. But, being from Louisiana, I sometimes like a richer flavor. I love Steen's Cane Syrup. It is very dark and has a wonderfully strong flavor. So, sometimes I uses Maple and sometimes I use Steen's. Yum!
