Jesus travel: Eating in the land of milk and honey {Gadling}

Jun 16th 2009 10:08PM Just came across this site yesterday and I've found it fascinating, informative, and I'm really enjoying it.
I am leaving soon for a 14 day tour to Israel and the food sounds wonderful and awesome. My only worry is about eating raw salads and fruits there. Is it safe? Even street food? I haven't seen anything mentioned about that yet. I have a iffy stomach from a trek years ago in Nepal, so I always worry. Thanks for any information.
