Name My (Sweet) Ride for a Chance to Win a HP Veer phone {Gadling}
Jun 14th 2011 6:12PM Hey, it would be nice if you would let us know what kind of car it is. If it is that silver Ford at the top of the article, who knows what it is? I sure can't tell from that angle...
Detroit's Urban Farms: Budget Battles and Milking Goats {Gadling}
Jun 9th 2011 5:32PM I have to agree that the photograph is rather confusing. The editor didn't do a very good job there. A picture from the protest would have made a lot more sense. I would hope that private party donations would keep the farm going. I hate to think that the animals will suffer because of budget cut backs. This kind of exposure is so great for young people.
Lauryn Hill May Be Pregnant {The Boombox}

House Trends: Is This the End of the Living Room? {DIY Life}
Mar 21st 2011 10:19PM I have never been a big fan of the 'great room.' I do like the idea of a family room open to the kitchen, but there should also be a separate space to get away from the 'family.' I like to cook but I don't like having the scent of my cooking EVERYWHERE in the house. I'll keep my living room, thank you very much.
Jim Leyritz Blames Victim for DUI Crash {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Dec 8th 2010 11:53PM If what this article says is right, what the he*L is wrong with this guy? He is the one that ran the red light!!!
The Top 5 Fragrances for Fall {Lemondrop}
Sep 14th 2010 12:23PM I'm an Avon rep and I can tell you that Fergie's Outspoken is FABULOUS!! I like the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie, but Avon comes out with so many fragrances (like two a month!) and I thought, "Here we go. Another celebrity fragrance. BORING!" WRONG. It's a wonderful scent with blackberry, tuber rose and leather. Lovely floral with that little bit of naughty leather! It even comes in a solid cologne heart shaped pendant. Too cute. Give a try. For $28 you really can't go wrong!
Pilot Watch: 'Hawaii Five-O' {AOL TV}
Jun 30th 2010 11:19PM Nothing can replace the original. This looks interesting but they should have come up with a different name. I think what made 5-0 memorable was that all the characters were cool - literally - under pressure and wore suits. The cases were the focus of the show, not interpersonal relationships and a lot of shoot-um-up, bang-um-up flashy stunts.
Top Budget Travel Destinations for 2010 {AOL Travel News}
Jun 29th 2010 2:34AM If you really want a lot for your money folks ought to be thinking about visiting Denver and the surrounding area this summer. The weather is mild and there are soooo many activities and soooo many of them are FREE! You can't get much more economical than that. I came upon this web site: http://www.freetripstoday.com that mentions all sorts of things that be done for free. I am looking forward to spending 4th of July at Denver City Park and enjoying the live jazz out on the grass. Love it!
Whitney Houston: Continuing To Disappoint Fans Overseas As Speculation Over Weight Gain Ensues {BV Newswire}
Jun 11th 2010 7:40PM Whitney Houston needs a lot of sympathy right now. From the looks of it she is very ill. I would venture to say that she is taking cortisone for breathing problems, hench the heavy face and weight gain -- both typical side effects of cortisone. I think she's doing her best to be there for her fans, but unfortunately she is not up to it. Give her some support.
Confessions of a Census Worker {AOL Jobs}
May 29th 2010 1:38PM Why is it that everyone is focusing on the email comment? Having an email account IS NOT a requirement to work for the census. Bob wished all his people had email so it would have made his job easier -- again it was not required by the census. I am certain there are millions more people that DON'T have computers in the US, than do.
I am much more concerned about the antiquated methods being used to count all of us. With 10 years between census' one would think that the government would update the manner in which census takers do their job. From what Bob said, it's obvious they haven't hired enough people and with all the mistakes mentioned, we have to wonder how accurate the census can possibly be. Everyone who has experienced a problem should write a letter to their congress person and let them know, so MAYBE in 10 years they'll have improved the system. So don't just complain here, tell somebody who might be able to do something about it.
