Kid Gets Book for Christmas, Throws Tantrum Because, C'mon, A BOOK? {Urlesque}
Dec 24th 2010 5:21PM Ungrateful little bastard would never EVER get another gift from me, so he wouldn't have to worry about being disappointed ever again. What is wrong with his parents anyway? My children were taught to always say thank you, and to write thank-you notes expressing some positive feeling even when the gift was "lame." (And sometimes they were...)
Do You - and Should You - Kiss Your Dog? {Pawnation OLD}
Dec 10th 2010 5:03PM Doctor Steelman, no one could believe more strongly than l in the connection between a strong bond with a pet and reduction of stress levels, etc. l know it for a fact. But swapping saliva with ANY animal is repugnant to me. With respect, sir, it's just nasty. l have a cat, and l love him with all my heart. But we greet one another with nuzzles and rubs. l don't want HIS tongue in my mouth either.
Do You - and Should You - Kiss Your Dog? {Pawnation OLD}

Do You - and Should You - Kiss Your Dog? {Pawnation OLD}
Dec 10th 2010 4:50PM l do not have a dog. l HAVE had dogs, though, and did not allow them to lick my face, much less kiss me on the lips. l know l'm offending some dog owner somewhere; but, honey, that is just nasty. l like dogs. l have had some great dogs. But going steady with my pet is not an option for me. There are enough other ways of demonstrating our bond, such as a nuzzle, maybe a quick peck on the cheeks... even, if you must, licking my hands. But never EVER on the lips.
Most-Used Words on TV Reveal Depressing Trends {Lemondrop}
Sep 14th 2010 1:27PM AMAZING. Everything is ''amazing.'' When EVERYTHING becomes a superlative, then NOTHING can be. And that's too bad. Because some things really ARE amazing.

WHAAAAAAAAAT????? Run/DMC single-handedly revived Aerosmith? You jest, yes? Yea that was a cute video but Aerosmith revived itself, and some of us had never ost the faith to begin with.
No Eye Candy on the Golf Course {AOL Hot Searches}
Sep 2nd 2009 8:45PM This is just silly. These women could do their job just as well in an attractive golf-appropriate outfit.
Weird and wacky finds from the hotel minibar {Gadling}
Jul 16th 2009 4:35AM I need to find a way to finance a weekend at the W Hotel, and then try every product in the minibar. For what I will no doubt be paying, a few extra dollars probably won't mean that much at check-out time, and I will have enjoyed a luxurious retreat. By myself? That could be fun, rolling aound on a bed of whip cream and butterscotch with... what else?... premium chocolate ice cream? I believe in treating myself like the goddess I am, whenever I can. And the automated minibar STINKS!!!
The First Ladies Wore White: Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni in France {BV on Style}
Jun 8th 2009 2:43PM Ok, so she's no Jackie Kennedy. So what? Nobody is Jackie, that woman had her own style. This is Michelle Obama, unique, the only Michelle Obama (that I know of)in the world. She is beautiful, her style is her own (and I'm not just talking about clothes, either), she appears to be a fine wife and mother, and conducts herself appropriately as First Lady. AND WHO THE HELL CARES??? Times have changed since Mamie Eisenhower... not to diss Mamie, she did just fine... but that was the 50s. This is another century. Let's hope people have more to concern themselves with than the color of this item or that, or what designer she uses. Come on, America, what are you, 12? By the way... about those arms... famed and rightly so. The woman just knocks me out!
