Sep 28th 2012 4:28PM Whats sad but true is the fact that this happens more often than those flying or handling flight would care to admit. This also is not something that just started its been going on for a very long time its just begun to be talked about more. The person in this story was just unfortunate in that he was videod doing his dirty deed and its good that he was and if TSA would prosecute these criminals they might put a much needed and long overdue stop to these thefts. Many years ago 20 to be exact my sister flew from orange county california to michigan with tsa when she arrived in michigan and went to retrieve her suitcase she noticed a long piece of duct tape on it she removed the duct tape and discovered to her horror that someone had slashed a larg hole in her suitcase causing her to have to buy another suitcase and to add to the horror they had stolen her camera, an expensive pair of new shoes still in the box as well as several small wrapped gifts gifts she had purchased for family members. When she reported it to TSA officals they went to get a supervisor but never returned she called and complained but all TSA did was say im sorry and if you make a list of the items and submit it to us we will try to locate the items. Months went by with no contact and when she recontacted them in the end all they did was refund the cost of her ticket with no mention of the items stolen from her. She had to threaten to take them to court before they finally paid her the cost of the items stolen. If at all possible when flying ship suitcases to you destination through the post office which is also cheaper that checking the bags with the airline and paying their steep fees I know because this is what i did when i went home to visit and if you can do with just a carry on do that its far better to do that thnn to suffer a loss due to thievery.

Jul 5th 2011 9:41PM I can understand her wanting to adop to give a child a good loving home and for that i say cudos to her but at the same time she can have children she should have had invitro or done it the natural way thereby giving someone who cant have kids and has been waiting for years in some cases a chance to fulfill their dream of having kids.

Jul 5th 2011 9:25PM I for one am happy for her and unlike the rude moron who on here who said the kid was probably a spook im glad that there is another child who got a good home. I just hope she wasnt like the lady who adopted my nephew, she lied and had his foster parent who was a close friend of hers knowingly present false evidence to the court before he was even eligble to be adopted causing my sister to lose her parental rights. yay for families who adopt I do however believe that adoption laws need to be changed giving birth parents the time and oooprtunity and resources to gain back custody of their children. The courts say the goal is to reunite kids with their parents but in 60 percent of cases these days thats not what happens.

Jul 2nd 2011 11:44AM Ive personaly know terry for many years he has eaten dinner in my home and treated me and my sister to several of his wrestling matches hell he even helped me put together my first water bed many years ago. Terry's wife Linda was a very sweet but unwitting victim in this case because terry cheated on here many times over the years and allways pretended to be mr innocent while putting her through absolute hell and yes he was violent towards her. I for one am glad she got the courage to divorce the steroid abusing butwad who wants in his mind to pretend he is a god to women. This lady he just married will eventualy see his true colors just like linda did and she will divorce him too then all of you so quick to judge linda will be singin a different tune.

Feb 24th 2011 10:41PM I think this country needs to spend more money and time promting adoption instead of the morning after pill or abortions. There are far to many forms of birth control in this country that a woman, any woman can use if she does not wish to become pregnant. The women of this nation should stop using oh its my right to choose as a justification for killing these unborn babies. This isnt even a issue of race it is because of roe v wade that women can now legaly kill their unborn children right up till the day they are born because they were to lazy to use birth control so really the most dangerous place for any unborn baby of a mother of any race who believes in the right to choose is in the womb.

Jan 24th 2011 12:21AM The show teen moms and Teen moms 2 do not glamourize teen pregnancy like kim kardashian says in fact it does just the opposite. This show shows the real life everyday struggles that these teens deal with 24/7 and from what I have seen it has detered many teen girls and guys from becoming parents at such an early age. Kim is just someone who is famous for what for nothing. Sure she is an adult but she isnt exactly mother teresa and she may not have been a teen mom but who is she to judge. The only reason most celebreties and or rich people are not teen parents is due to the fact that our government in the united states says its perfectly legal to kill an unborn child right up to the day its born so many of those who criticize have a dirty little secret in their closet and its called abortion. while it is not glamorous at least these teen moms who are getting pregnant are choosing life over freedom and are being paid a living wage that will help them raise their children.

Jan 11th 2011 6:31PM I see nothing wrong with middle school students being randomly tested for drugs as long as the test is not invasive because kids of that age group these days know more about drugs than they do algebra. And I agree with tigger i think people recieveing welfare should also be made to submit to random drug testing cause hey if you cant afford to pay yer rent and buy groceries you shouldnt be drinkin or doin drugs, and before all you bleeding hearts say not everyone on welfare does drugs im not saying everyone does Im just saying those that do need to be held acountable, after all people in the work force have to do it weather they want to or not and fair is fair.

Jan 10th 2011 8:00PM Not Sure if anyone knows this but unless ya see them purify the water you wont know if that is actually done. I read several years ago where most bottled water touted as filtered or purified is nothing more than glorified tap water which is the same as what we get from our kitchen sink which is why they dont list how it its filtered distilled or purified. Just something for the masses of bottled water fans to think about. You would be better off buying a britta water pitcher and filtering your own water.
Topsy Turvy Planter review: Tomatoes can grow upside down {WalletPop}
Aug 24th 2010 8:21PM I bought a topsy turvy tomato planter at walmart for $9.95 this is my second year using it and i am very pleased with the results I get a lot of tomatos and earlier than if i had planted in a regular garden bed. I water every other day and this summer with the high temperatures every day as they do dry out if not watered enough and i also fertilize once a month. You can not over water tomato plants in these as excess water drains from holes in the bottom of the planter. I would recommend these to anyone with limited space or someone who wants to grow only tomatos. The people who have so many problems with these seem to in my oppinion be the ones that dont water frequently enough and neglect to fertilize the plants once planted. Dont complain when you dont do the work properly and your plants die these do take some work but much less than traditional planting however you cant just plant and do nothing else and expect your plants to give you a high yield.

Jun 24th 2010 10:24PM While handing out condoms in highschool and even Juniorhigh is a great tool for safe sex and preventing unwanted pregnancy and std's what the hell were these people thinking passing out condoms to kindergarden students thru fifth grade students??? yer talking 5 to 10 year olds that a condom wouldnt fit anyway not to mention these kids are not having sex and most are embarassed to even use the proper words for body parts can you imagine them asking for a condom. I agree with the commentors who said yank yer kids out of that school immediately because this is being done without parental consent. what ever happened to getting the parents permission first.
