Jul 7th 2012 10:25PM Had a situation like this before, only not a religious gathering, He needs to take his study group to a rec hall where there is ample parking. on a residentual street doesn't work cause it blocks the neighbors driveways.and if people come to visit them, there's no place to park.

Jun 14th 2012 8:02PM With the gas prices going thru the roof. and push mowers virtually a thing of the past, one has to rely on motor driven blades. then, what do you do with the grass clippings? Luckily I have a mulcher motor driven push mower. it makes noise because of the gasoline engine. next thing, they'll be complaining about the lawn mower noise from the gasoline engine. Then they'll require everyone to use an "electric" mower. to cut down on noise pollution. Answer to mowing the lawn, tear out the grass, pour concrete and make the yards into patios. waa laa... no more grass to cut.and paint the concrete "green".. smile.. see Mrs. D, there is a solution to everything..

Jan 14th 2012 8:41AM Reason I stay at Hotel/Motels when I'm on the road; the bath/shower. never get much sleep. "neighbors" are there for "party time". drunk, loud, kids running up and down the hallways. I'm a non-smoker with bad allergies to cig smoke, Unfortunately no other rooms available. non-smoking room,smelled like a smokers den. This is why I carry can of air freshener. Woman saw me carrying into motel and asked if She could borrow it. Her "non-smoking" room smelled worse than mine. Some People use Motels as places to party away from where they live. so they become obnoxious. Then the tv's, some work, some don't. I had to use my batteries in the remote. I've stayed at a lot of high end and low end hotel/motels. seems the pricier the quieter they are.
