Tracy Morgan in Foreclosure Fracas Over Mom's Mortgage {AOL Real Estate}
Feb 1st 2012 8:34AM I understand the contention of some here, but let's assume she didn't beat him or something heinous, his sister would feel the same way about their mother if she was a wicked person. Siblings usually side with one another in such an upbringing. Besides, once you're all grown up, if you're still hanging on to baggage from your childhood, still mad at Mom for not hugging you enough or dad for not being there, get some therapy and move on man! Life is hard, take the skirt off and get on with it, Even if she's "gone to the well" one too many times, your mothers for the most part, give you more than you could ever repay in dollars and cents, if you're a mother, you know this, if you're not, you can't speak fully about it. Let's say you were worth $100 grand, the amount she's asked of him would be the equivalent of about $100, if you had $100,000, would you give your mom $100 to save her home? No matter how angry I was at my mom, no matter what she'd done to me, if one tenth of 1 percent of what I had would save her home, bet your sweet a$$ I'd give it to her, period. Life is about cleaning up your own side of the street, answering to yourself for your own choices, do you think no matter what his reasons are, he'll ever feel ok about this? Not if he has a pulse.
Antonio Banderas absent for part of Melanie's battle with addiction {Celestrellas}
Sep 25th 2011 4:49AM What you know about this topic could be written on a matchbook cover, try blogging about things you have at least a morticum of understanding...maybe how to be an ignorant blowhard. My grandfather died at 41, scirosis, my father dropped dead at 56, heart attack from alcohol abuse so I avoided alcohol like arsenic till I was 19. One drink when I joined the military as I wanted to fit in, I was on my knees at my first AA meeting inside 2 years, I never touched a drop till 19 (can you say that?) I never met my father so skip the "environmental" influence, and I hated alcohol for leaving me fatherless, yet one drink and I became an alcoholic just like my father and grandfather...not a disease huh?

Sep 25th 2011 4:35AM Indeed, third relapse (that we know of) and he's still there?
That is all the support you could ask for and more.
A Style Icon is Born: Elle Fanning's Best Red Carpet Looks {Stylelist}
Jun 11th 2011 8:19AM Please, for the love of God tell me the women posting here about how appropriate this is for a 13 year old girl aren't raising any daughters? She wasn't even a teen 8 weeks ago!!!Let me repeat myself...TWELVE 8 weeks ago!! Do any of you find a pre-teen wearing sultry Valentino dresses anything that remotely resembles "age appropriate"? If you do, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you were born without a brain stem! Have you any idea what kind of dangers her parents have placed her in? A strapless dress for a girl who probably doesn't even need a bra yet? I have a very important message for those women praising this who have daughters, go home, pack a sutcase and take your little girl to her grandparents immediately, you are not ready to be a parent. If you don't, my other suggestion would be to buy her a bottle of Vodka, Cranberry Juice, some Meth or Cocaine and a box of condoms because you'll be saving her steps. Dress like an adult, live in an adult world and guess what? You will act like an adult. If you wanted to buy your kid a car and hoped they wouldn't drive too fast, would you buy them a Ferrari? No. Why? Because you told them to drive slow and then bought them a sports car. If you want your little girl to do the things little girls do, you buy them some cute jeans, a pretty blouse and drive her and her friends to the mall to go shopping and watch a movie, you don't put them in a pile of makeup and a strapless Valentino cocktail dress! Hey, here's another thought, maybe, just maybe you should be nearly old enough to have a flippin' cocktail before you wear a cocktail dress! For the record, I'm not a woman, I'm father to a 5 year old boy so I'm not 85 and "behind the times". I am raising him to treat women with dignity and respect, just as I do. When he brings home his first girlfriend at 13-15, she darn-well better have straps on her top or my son will be very angry with me, 'cause we'll be taking her straight home where I will suggest to her mother that her preteen daughter will be needing a change of clothes. Do any of you remember Rebecca Schaffer? Murdered by an obssessed fan, just 22 and I don't recall seeing her in any sexy dresses. Folks, stop buying into the media and let your kid be a kid.

Jun 11th 2011 7:06AM Please tell me your post is because you're friends of Fanning's parent and you're concerned they might read this? Yes, they're clearly charming young girls, big emphasis on "young girls". So they're used to Hollywood, perhaps she has an advantage having a sibling in the biz. That didn't help River Phoenix much, Charlie Sheen's brother Emilio is an actor right? I could make this a pretty long list, but let's keep it simple, what can great celebrity do to the young? Of the 3 kids on Different Strokes, 2 are dead and Todd Bridges should be but for the grace of God, Rebecca Schaeffer was killed by a stalker fan. Heath Ledger? Fast forward to what's happening now, Lindsey Lohan, Brittany Spears, even Miley Cyrus is courting trouble and she used to be the argument for kid celebs that could keep their head on straight. Michael Jackson didn't die as young, but he was one messed up young man long ago, he had half a dozen siblings to learn from. Let me tell you from my own experience, I signed a lucrative modeling contract at 21, I never drank or did drugs, until then. Ran around with a few celebs and I changed almost overnight, and I had a great mother who was a supermodel in her day. If you think for one second the fact that she's supposedly got good parents, it will keep her from harm when she's 13 but dressing like a grown woman, associating with older celebs who will influence her, you are sadly mistaken. Yes, she looks lovely in a Valentino for an 18-21 year old, but her parents are absolute fools for letting her grow up this fast...at 13! She should be wearing jeans and a cute blouse hanging out at the mall with friends, not wearing sultry dresses never intended for a girl who wasn't even a teenager a few months ago! Respectfully, you seem pleasant and you have a nice view of the world but you are as wrong as you could be about this.

Jun 5th 2011 12:32AM Idiots? The C130 wasn't an American charter you tool, can't you hear the Iranian camera man who shot the video? Do you hear gunfire? Also, that's not mentioned as the AC 130H or U which are armed, the C-130 is a transport plane, and they can't shoot directly behind them anyway, the cannons are side-mounted. The armed 130's have to be sideways of their target. The article explains they were coming back from an Iranian Air show, why would American fighter jocks be in an Iranian air show, and we sure wouldn't be showcasing an F4? Further, learn to spell "defense" before you call anyone an idiot, there is no "c" in "defense you moron. You better go, I hear the Klan is having a meeting tonight. I do my light work on clowns like you. Next victim.

Jun 5th 2011 12:10AM Possible his electricals weren't working, he also could have been blacked out from G-forces, he may not have known the tail was gone, they can't visually see it and might have had him working on stabilizing it, panic, any number of reasons why a pilot doesn't eject a plane going down.

Jun 5th 2011 12:06AM It's a 154 and there were 10 crashes with fatalities on the 154 just in the 90's, just that model!

Jun 5th 2011 12:03AM 1987? Wow! Most of us don't drive cars that old let alone something that travels in heavy winds at 600 mph for 24 years, bird strikes? uhh..metal fatigue anyone?
This say enough to me, when asked, the company who they claim did the inspection in 2009, they responded "we aren't able to confirm having inspected it"
Don't you think they'd immediately take a defensive posture? "Yes, we inspected it, here are the X-ray scans of the structural integrity, signed by Joe Shmo, our senior meallurgist" or something. The guilty whisper, the innocent shout it from the rafters, at least that's my experience. Further, the Polish President was killed in that same Tupelov and there were at least 10 deadly crashes of that exact model in the 90's. They had planned on removing all the 154's and let the President fly in one?
There have been three deadly crashes of a Tu-154 in Iran since 2002, the last one in July last year killed 168 people. Iran said in February it was planning to stop using the plane, guess they never got around to it. Don't put me down for flying in a Tuplelov
