If you don't tip well, then you won't recieve proper service. It's as simple as that.
It's understandable if you have a bad server why you wouldn't leave much but otherwise tip accordingly. If the server did a fine job then leave atleast 18%. If they did a fantastic job then you should leave 20% or above.
We remember the crappy customers. Just keep that in mind.
When the customer sits down, more often than not, the ball is in their court of how they want their experience to go. If you act like a rude b***h, then that's the kind of service you deserve to get in return. If you're nice and polite then we will be too. Servers don't just want to automatically piss off every customer for no reason, that would make no sense at all. Sometimes I don't think the customers realize that though. Think, people.
