I can pretty much guarantee you at least three quarter of the them do have jobs. They care enough about this cause to come and do what they can, even if it might jeapordize their jobs. Judging by what you wrote I'm sure you can't relate to that kind of commitment and caring.

In times of distress I've never asked god for anything because there is no god. There's a book that some people wrote with some pretty outlandish stories in it. In times of distress I'll take some reality not a prayer to something with no proof that it even exists.
