Jul 14th 2009 12:45PM I have a brother who was born in Germany, raised in Sweden and now lives in Senegal. I now have a beautiful sister in law and niece whom I can't wait to meet.
I also have a good friend from Senegal and can't wait to go for a visit. The food, fabric and culture I long to experience. I'd love to learn to make their National dish Chebugienne (sp?). :-)

May 27th 2009 12:24PM It is so hard to believe (well, no it isn't) that some folks still think the way Steve, lad300 and Scott Pruitt do. Your comments are totally ridiculous! Schools in some neighborhoods where I live don't have text books in 2009 and the quality of education is poor. Unless or course you send your child to a school out of the community or city at times. University's still don't want black people at their institutions. And you say black people are racist because schools like Howard and Spelman exist? Because major networks rarely give black people the opportunity to run sitcoms on television so outlets (not black owned) like BET air these programs...come on now, use your head!
