Best ice cream in America not just from a shop {Gadling}
May 31st 2011 4:57PM I agree about Graeter's. It's extremely good. We stumbled onto it at our local Kroger's store here in Richmond, VA, and gave it a try. The raspberry & chocolate is outstanding...including the golf ball size hunks of dark chocolate. We've always believed Ben & Jerry's and Hagen Daz was good, but I think Graeter's has them both beat. It's worth searching for. Yummmmm!!!
Vampire Weekend's 'Holiday' and Three Other Songs Ruined By Repetitive Commercials {AOL TV}
Dec 8th 2010 8:55AM Please don't forget "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," sung by Andy Williams. I hate that song because of the commercials.

World's Tallest Dog Comes Face-to-Face With World's Smallest {Pawnation OLD}
Sep 16th 2010 9:46PM You may be right about that, but I'd like for the two dogs to be measured the same way. This so-called "largest dog in the world" is measured from nose-to-tail, i.e., length, while this so-called "smallest dog in the world" is measured by height. This makes for an illogical apples-and-oranges comparison. How about if they go back and use the same measuring standard both dogs, either height or length? Moreover, I believe "largest" and "smallest" are vague terms. Using use "tallest," "longest," "heaviest," "lightest," "shortest," etc, would be more understandable.
Hampton Inn Officially Adds Waffles {AOL Travel News}
Jun 17th 2010 8:52PM Mike, I agree. Although I don't condone the very public smarmy activity of a certain publicity-seeking Hilton family heir, we have stayed in Hampton Inns almost exclusively during the past couple years, and our experience has been excellent. Good facilities & WiFi, decent rooms & business center, great staff and a really good breakfast...and, the price is right. I haven't carb loaded on the waffles yet, but I did overdo on 4 omelets plus sides on my last visit a few weeks ago. I am not an employee, only a satisfied customer.
Open bidding process could end Niagara Falls' Maid of the Mist boat tours {Gadling}
Apr 7th 2010 12:01AM Do you really mean "lowest bid?" If this is a concession business opportunity being offered by governments who, presumably, are looking to obtain the maximum benefit to them, I suspect that they'll look for the highest bid...so that they (the governments involved) receive the highest income to them (the governments). Just a thought. ICBW.
Student Redesigns Coke Bottle {Slashfood}
Apr 6th 2010 4:56PM Some have said that this already has been done. I know that it's already been done with "still" liquids like chicken/beef/vegetable stocks. But, I would ask if it has been done with highly pressurized carbonated beverages? Any flat-sided "carton," under carbonation pressure will bulge a lot unless the sides are so thick, or so heavily reinforced, that they become uneconomically thick. That's one of the reasons that round flimsy cans are so popular...they're strong for their weight when pressurized. But, then, I may be so "of the old school" that I can't appreciate the innovation. LOL.
Does Your Resume Show Your Age? {AOL Jobs}
Mar 11th 2010 11:26AM Todd is correct; the words mean exactly what they say. If you doubt that, read the expressions slowly and actually THINK about the meaning of the words while doing so. The widespread misuse of this expression long has been one of my pet peeves.
Asylum Makes Grammar Fun -- Tips for the Grammatically Challenged {Asylum}
Jan 26th 2010 10:05AM While I agree with your general premise, I can't help but wonder if "should of," as it is written is actually a homonym of "should've" which is a contraction of "should have."
"Diet" Dr. Pepper Confusing Consumers {Slashfood}
Jan 11th 2010 4:54PM I agree. Besides, all they need to do to be sure is read the calorie count on the back of the can. Zero calories on the label will confirm their stupidity.
