2010 Summer Movie Guide: 25 Reasons We're Psyched {Moviefone Blog}

May 6th 2010 4:28PM Inception is the only movie I'm truly excited about. It looks like there'll still be a few decent movies. Toy Story 3 will be good...it's Pixar. I expect that Iron Man 2 will be rather entertaining, though the general consensus of the advanced reviews seems to be that it's worse than the first. Most of these movies though...most of them are going to be complete garbage.

A Kodak moment will now cost you at least $4.99 {WalletPop}

Apr 5th 2009 4:09PM They still give you a whole 2 GB for free...I don't see how that's unfair. It costs money to run their servers. Admittedly, it must really suck for people that have a crap load of pictures on Kodak's site and now have to spend a huge amount of time transferring them to, say, Photobucket. But still, it's a perfectly reasonable $5 fee.

Tunisian pilot who prayed while crash landing a plane gets 10 years in jail {Gadling}

Mar 28th 2009 11:24PM abdul...are you kidding me? Yeah, Hitler called himself a Christian, and then went and organized the holocaust. ANYONE can call themselves whatever they want and then go off and do whatever they want. It's rather stupid of you to judge Christianity by the actions of certain people...judge it by the teachings and preachings themselves. No where in the Bible do I see "Thou shalt go out into all the world and kill Jews."

Is Facebook Destroying Kids' Brains? {Switched}

Feb 25th 2009 10:20PM I'm sorry for the occasional spelling and grammar mistakes, but please don't be pricks about it; you can understand the post, can't you?

Is Facebook Destroying Kids' Brains? {Switched}

Feb 25th 2009 10:15PM Haha, utterly ridiculous. First off: does this article's idea change anything? I mean, are we going to see bans on social networking sites for the sake of our nations "continuing" intelligence? No, we aren't.

Secondly: why all the bashing of these new-fangled social networking sites? ANYTHING that doesn't have a minimum requirement for utilizing logic can be used as constructively or negatively as the user wants. For instance, I could sit back and watch TV, and "experts" could bash the TV stations for being the cancer of modern society, or I could actively predict and follow events of an interesting and complex show for the benefit and health of my mind. The same exact thing goes for Facebook...I can have interesting and intricate arguments and conversations with others, or simply strengthen relationships, for the benefit of my overall health (social bonds and relationships are, as anyone who has gone through middle school health class know, an important factor in one's health).

Thirdly: lack moderation and unbalanced lifestyles are the encompassing issues here; they are the main problem to American society, and even modern society as a whole. Yes, Facebook could be an outlet for someone to waste their life, brain, and wellness away. However, at this point in our society, any number of things could do that; if people are too foolish to not keep active and in shape, to not keep their brains active and healthy, and to not pursue real, face-to-face relationships, its THEIR fault. Quit shifting the blame and not taking responsibility; the problem isn't Facebook, it's PEOPLE that MISUSE it. That's for the same reason Grand Theft Auto isn't what makes people f*cking killers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 announced {Joystiq Xbox}

Feb 14th 2009 5:50PM Alright...I love MW, but I love it because it's FUN, not realistic. Yes, Halo is getting old, and yes, CoD is better, but not because it's accurate to life, it's because it's fucking FUN.

Election Day freebies abound for voters: Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Ben & Jerry's and much, much more {WalletPop}

Nov 3rd 2008 9:01PM "At Zov's, a three-restaurant chain, also in California, they're giving away a free slice of apple pie to anyone who votes."

Yay typos.

BTW guys, what's with all the bitching? All I hear on this page is how disgusting, undemocratic, and horrible this is. It's not like they're rewarding you for voting for a particular candidate; that's disgusting. They're just promoting voting and themselves, the former being a very good thing and the latter...well, c'mon guys, capitalism FTW.

Fisher Price walkie talkie picks up conversation about strip clubs {ParentDish}

Aug 10th 2008 4:16PM Recall? Excuse the language, but...that's fucking ridiculous. It's one thing if the toy was meant to scan for inappropriate conversations and then play them to three year olds...

Jul 25th 2008 11:58AM You know how crazy you sound right now, right?

This isn't part of a massive organized move of animals trying to kill humans...

'Halo' versus 'Gears of War' {ComicsAlliance}

Jun 9th 2007 10:08PM Some of the ways Gears of War is being compared to Halo are rediculous. As some have said, Gears of War is next-gen whereas Halo is not.
