Jan 14th 2008 6:47PM Many years ago my dental hygienist told me to rinse my mouth with Peroxide. (98 Cents at Walmart for a big bottle). I have followed her advice and my teeth look great. I am (unfortunately still) a smoker and drink lots of coffee and tea. I take a cap full of peroxide once a day before brushing my teeth, swish it around maybe a minute, spit out and then brush. Great Results!

What keeps in the Crisper Drawer for a little while is Celery, Carrots, Onions, Parsley, Garlic, Cucumber and other vegetables from the Produce Section in the Supermarkets. Even lettuce keeps. But nothing will keep forever, so cook everynight and use it and then go to the store and buy it again. Very simple economics. What's all this with these green bags? I put everything in the crisper drawer in the bag I pick up in the Produce Section. Why all this waste of bags and paper and wrappings?

Oct 25th 2006 5:04PM My husband and I and many of our friends have been going to the Dominican Republic twice annually for vacation. For the past 13 Years!!! We are going again next week. Very nice hotels, great food and friendly people, all at affordable prices. Beats the Florida Beaches with their overpriced hotels and boring run of the mill very expensive food. The Dominican Republic is Third World and the people are poor. I've seen many homes in the rich USA which I would qualify as toxic waste sites. And whereever there are big manufacturing plants and garbage disposal facilities, the air here stinks too.
