Michelle Stayed Away From Buffets and Lost 70 Pounds {That's Fit}
Apr 2nd 2011 2:20PM Isn't it wonderful to look great again? I lost 30 lbs (from 150 to 120) and while I hadn't been really really fat, I was so unhappy with my weight and looks that I didn't even try to look good. Now I've bought several pieces of clothes that fit, changed my hair dramatically, started using makeup again and feel SO much better about myself. One thing I learned from this is that when I feel good about myself I feel better about everything else.
Ms. vs. Miss vs Mrs.: Are Women's Marital Status Titles Obsolete? {MyDaily}
Mar 24th 2011 11:07AM I'm pretty sure that a married woman KNOWS she's a married woman and doesn't need a reminder in front of her name. I'm all for getting rid of all the titles, returning to boy names for boys and girl names for girls and having ladies keep their maiden names after marriage - without the d--- hyphen!
Makeup Tips: Five Tricks to Look Younger {Stylelist}
Feb 16th 2011 3:04PM Well all the comments except Barbara Smith's look like commercials to me. Do these people pay for advertising space on this site? I doubt it.
I Was an Anne Geddes Baby: One Woman Dishes About Her Time in the Cabbage Leaf {MyDaily}
Feb 10th 2011 1:22PM It never ceases to amaze me how these teeny tiny babies can grow up and be so perfectly normal. And in this particular case, at least, she grew up to be SO very beautiful!
A Fee for Using Plastic Bags: Is Your State Next? {Slashfood}
Feb 10th 2011 8:57AM Yep. And wash the ones we BUY here in NC and up and down the East Coast and they'll come all to pieces. We've got them from Florida to Maine, and not a one of them is worth the 5 cents the plastic ones might cost.
A Fee for Using Plastic Bags: Is Your State Next? {Slashfood}
Feb 10th 2011 8:54AM I use my plastic grocery bags the same way you do - kitty litter and trash liners for small trash containers. I like using the reusable bags, but almost every one that I've bought, and we pay an average of $1.00 for them, tears very quickly. At that rate paying 5 cents per bag would be cheaper! I think I'd get a lot more use from the old-fashioned paper bags. We shop at different stores, so we have bags from several. I have yet to get one that lasts long enough to be worth the dollar. Otherwise I'd ALWAYS use reusable bags.
Can Your Favorite Color Determine Your Perfect Job? {AOL Jobs}
Jan 27th 2011 5:50PM I tried to take the test and got caught in some kind of loop. Took it about 4 times and finally gave up.
Toyota Owners Clear Hurdle Toward Lawsuits Over Sudden Acceleration {WalletPop}
Dec 11th 2010 8:21AM I definitely think "lost value" should fit into the lawsuit. It got only a very brief mention in this article, but I know we won't EVER get the full value for our Toyota Camry when we trade it. We've had the "fix" done, drove the car from NC to all over New England, etc since the work was done, but I still don't trust it to go to the grocery store down the road. I certainly don't expect someone else to.

Kathy Griffin: Why Does Charlie Sheen Have a Job? {PopEater}
Nov 12th 2010 7:59AM Since when is ANYONE in Hollywood "average men or women"? Charlie Sheen does what he gets paid to do very very well. Can you say "Lindsay Lohan" "George Jones", "Marilyn Monroe"? None of them a bit "better" than Charlie. You go, Uncle Charlie!
