Video: Lexus LF-A on the Nurburgring {Autoblog}
Jul 12th 2007 9:14PM "I wonder if Toyota/Lexus will do anything out of the ordinary with it."
Maybe they could start with an engine that doesn't develop copious amounts of sludge and fit it with a steering rack that doesn't shatter at high speeds.
Since this car doesn't appeal to the "me too" Consumer Reports Toyota zombies or the over 70 crowd,I think Lexus may actually have its hands full trying to sell these.
UAW head says Chrysler needs concessions from union {Autoblog}
Jun 19th 2007 3:40PM How proactive of the UAW to hold each of the automakers' heads under water until they're almost daed, then lift them up and expect a return to prosperity.
I'm sure Gettlefinger has already made a plan to re-instate job banks and torpedo the man once again the millisecond they make any money. UAW=socialism.
Nissan hasn't learned from Ford: Navistar-powered diesel Titan in 2009 {Autoblog}
Jun 15th 2007 1:26PM There's no way Nissan will just take an International Powerstroke right out of the box like Ford did. Nissan engineers will work with Navistar engineers to create a thoroughly spec'ed and tested powertrain.
Say what you will about Nissan's quality ratings: Their powertrains over the past 30 years have been bulletproof.
Tulsa hits snag unearthing '57 Belvedere time capsule {Autoblog}
Jun 13th 2007 3:26PM Yeah, but when all the hard work is done, you'll just have a '57 Plymouth -- a very average car.
A '57 Vette, T-Bird or Nomad would get people excited, but a Plymouth was a stodgy family truckster.
Check the meter! The newest take on urban camping {Autoblog}
Jun 13th 2007 2:36PM I once lived in a city where people would get in fistfights because residents put folding chairs in parking spaces to hold them while they went to church or shopping.
People would just run over the chairs or pitch them out of the way and a Donneybrook ensued. Can you imaging driving around with the family in tow for an hour in DC or San Fran, then seeing this? I'd run it over.
Day 21: Enter the Autoblog Relaunch Celebration Sweepstakes featuring the All-New 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T {Autoblog}
Jun 13th 2007 11:59AM Nice to see AutoBlog is gradually recovering from posting the "Nito voted worst vehicle of the year" headline right under the "Win a Dodge Nitro" ad last week.
I got a lot of mileage sending that to my friends in marketing!!!! Too funny
Check the meter! The newest take on urban camping {Autoblog}
Jun 13th 2007 11:04AM We have enough parked cars sideswiped here where I live... I think I'll pass.
Left lane drivers of America want you to move over. You know who you are {Autoblog}
Jun 12th 2007 4:35PM "Bah. If I'm doing the speed limit, go around me."
This nitwit is the same guy who blows smoke on you and your date, than tells you to go sit somewhere else if you don't like it. It's small penis syndrome applied to cars.
People who underachieve in other aspects of life feel power at being able to hold the rest of us behind them.
Interesting how drivers in the UK and the rest of Europe seem to abide by an unwritten rule that says "if I'm in the left lane and I'm not passing anyone, I deserve to be bitch slapped by everyone on this highway." But alas, we live in a country that is full of lawyers and malcontents and people who will tell you they need a howitzer to hunt deer.
The fact is, making people pass you on the right is extremely dangerous. It sets up close calls and blind spots that are not a factor when people do what they should on the road. So I'll spend the rest of my days looking for ways to humiliate you and your small weenie in front of your whole family.

VIDEO: Bush's limo breaks down in Rome, Italians giggle and point {Autoblog}
Jun 11th 2007 1:44PM They giggled and pointed at American workmanship. They quietly cursed at the worst U.S. preseident in more than a century.... the damage he's done to my country's reputation is not even funny.
