Dec 30th 2009 9:52PM I think the assertion that a "newbie" needs to be put under a veteran's wing is just as condescending. People figure it out, through the kindness of strangers or through trial and error. We don't have to be taken under as a project.
I think people are over-reacting as well. Nowhere does Heather puts down these newbies, she's just simply stating what she has seen and patterns. Nowhere does she state her annoyance or hatred at these actions. And yes, some of the actions do sound ridiculous enough where it would probably warrant it.
As a person who never has flown first class, this was all great advice and tips that hopefully I'll remember when the day comes where I do get to fly 1st class.
