Budget travel - mastering the art of Priceline hotel deals {Gadling}

Apr 25th 2009 7:52PM Does Priceline follow my activity and then deny bids because they know I really want a hotel? For instance, after I've used a dozen free rebids for Chicago, does priceline somehow know that it's VERY important for me to have a four star hotel in Chicago, so they don't accept a id that they might accept for someone who has only bid once? I just have the feeling I'm being watched and manipulated. I think I should switch to a different computer and use all different information and see if the price is suddenly available. Am I being paranoid?
