Apr 24th 2009 2:21PM Great answer, Heather! I'm a 31 year flight attendant and I think your explanation should be printed, laminated & in every seat pocket as required reading! Pax seem to think we are just being control freaks when we try to enforce the rules & not looking out for their (& OUR) safety. A very large man insisting on standing outside the lav, fell on me (strapped into my jumpseat) in turbulence & injured my shoulder & back a few years ago!
