Hanging pots or buckets from an American flag is absurd and to ruin the paint is ridicoulous.
I've seen a lot worse damage just walking on the walkways in front of the apartmants than from hanging flags from a railing.
Eviction is a bit harsh my thought is hang the flag on Holidays only of which Flags would be displayed because to properly hang a flag through the night it is to be lit up by light directed at the flag.
I did this when I lived in a senior apartment and had no complaints and no paint destruction.

Mar 29th 2011 10:27AM I would suggest they hire someone like myself retired, to drive them to their destination, of course they will have to supply the vehicle/limo,motorhome or whatever mode of comfort they would want.
Any overnight stays and of course food and drinks and gas.
Pay for a retired person can vary and be negotiated.
Sit back,enjoy the scenery and when the person wants to stop or the driver that can be done.

We do have some of the best Vacation Places over other countries.
The grass is not greener nor are the buildings older than what we have here.
We have old,new,used,abused,grass,trees,short,tall,lakes,rivers,streams and oceans,parks and amusement parks etc...
There is so much a person can find to see and do in the United States.
