Fallen American Airlines could be next to merge ... with JetBlue? {Gadling}
Oct 13th 2010 10:56AM I highly doubt JetBlue will sign on with this merger.....If have noticed the mergers...they are either two low cost carriers Southwest-AirTran or two large carriers Northwest-Delta, United Continental...JetBlue merging with American won't do it...JetBlue can't afford to raise prices and American can't afford to cut prices...they both lose much more in the end...I can see however, American pairing with Alaskan Airlines....I would rather JetBlue stay on it's own...as I love them and only fly them!!! BUT if they had to merge with an airline...my guess would be...Frontier...Frontier needs to pick up loyalty, service, and customers and JetBlue has all of the above and more...However, I still think JetBlue will be more successful if it stays on it's own!!!!

Jul 7th 2010 2:53PM @Leslie,
You would book it in your name! and when you call the airline to double check your reseveration tell them you are buying a seat for extra space. I did a few times and they were very helpful...not to mention you are paying for a seat and it wont require a lot of service...most airlines are happy to book you a double seat!!
Hope this helps!

Aug 25th 2009 12:38PM Gosh Darn it!!
I just saw the clue in the post...sorry everyone for the idiotic comment...
I just have to say in all honesty... Flight Attendants have a hard job that no one respects anymore...95% of the time I fly I am greeted with hellos...I am greeted with a smile when they come for beverage service...I am given a "thank you for flying with 'this airline' today" when we land safely... and the 5% of the time I don't....IT'S OK!!!!! It's not the end of the world... I mean seriously they have other things to be concerned about... Maybe it's just me..but I would rather a no hello then a flight attendant who isn't prepared for a safe flight.
We all have our jobs to do and yes, while a flight attendants job does include customer service...they aren't our slaves..they are there to help us and to make sure we all have a smooth flight to our destination...
A tip from one passenger to another...if you don't like the airlines snack or beverage service...buy your own in the airport...a bottle of water or coke or even a jamba juice smoothie and your own size of chips, combos or candy bar might make the flight better for you...
Just my opinions...

Overweight? United Airlines may charge you extra {WalletPop}
Apr 15th 2009 2:31PM Correction:
I like flying JetBlue DO TO their comfy spacious seats..
I also agree with Rick, I can fit into one seat and I squish myself against the window or wall of any aircraft so I don't bother the person sitting next to me..many times people have asked if I was scared to fly...

Apr 15th 2009 2:25PM Being a full figured gal I do agree that if you need two seats you pay for two seats. However, It would be insulting to passengers if they were asked to get on a scale to see if they fit the "weight requirement", that is an invasion of privacy.
that being said..I like flying JetBlue do their comfy spacious seats =)
