A prank like that might warrant a couple days detention, or, a written punishment of some kind, but expelling is such a farce. If these teachers today can't properly handle a prank such as this then they are pathetic. The teachers can sit with the kids watching what amounts to porn all in the name of sex education, but, you bring that joke gum in and you'll be drawn and quartered. How dare a 13 year old act like a 13 year old.

May 31st 2011 1:23PM Storm is their guinea pig. They want to prove their points at the expense of their child being rediculed by his/her piers. Children need a sense of secuirty in knowing who and what they are and that they are accepted by their piers, in allowing them that security they then learn to develope their individuality. Their child is in for a horrible time at the hands of his piers. Children can and will be cruel at times. When your child becomes a mental case with the possibility of being suicidal, they can't blame the other children, it is entirely the parents fault so that they can get their 5 minutes of fame in the press. Shame on you..

May 17th 2011 9:30PM Was the same for me. At one time i loved mel gibson, never missed a movie of his, now, i can't even watch him, he disgusts me. What he put his wife and children thru just to feed his ego was disgusting. Did he really think a twenty something girl was ravenous for his old wrinkled body and did it ever cross his beady brain that she only wanted his money? Shame on you mel, you proved yourself time and time again to be the drunken, womanizing, racist abuser that people in the past said you were. I'll no longer put my movie money in his pocket.
