Apr 13th 2009 10:33AM Interesting overview. One thing it makes me ask though, is, how is the US comparing to Europe? I looked up British stats (http://www.tourismtrade.org.uk/MarketIntelligenceResearch/InboundTourism/LatestCurrentYearData/latestcurrentyeardata.asp). December 2008, for example, is down 20.5% to December 2007 in in-bound visitors. Much bigger fall than the 9% drop in the US.
