Jan 2nd 2011 12:44AM I'd rather have a Nook. You can get e-books from both our local and metro libraries with a Nook, but not with a Kindle. And I generally like supporting actual bookstores (even the chain stores) rather than a mega, everything store like Amazon.

And Paul Bettany is not far behind at 3rd. The rest are ok, but don't have the "je ne sais quoi" that these 3 do, in my book.

Aug 2nd 2010 9:19PM KK, I agree with you. And, Catherine, if you want to share your story and feelings with someone, why not share it verbally, out loud, with friends and face to face? Then they can share back with you and you can affirm each other. And maybe laugh about your crappy MILs and what your husbands think. That's what we new moms used to do, and it didn't hang around waiting to be discovered for the rest of our lives, or maybe be found by the baby who Grandma said had a big nose. I understand the need to share, but like sex it is better if you protect yourself and others from unintended consequences.

Jul 22nd 2010 11:57PM TLC/Discovery must be owned by Republicans or Tea Partiers! I won't watch Sarah Palin's Alaska show or K+8, and am leaning toward not watching their branded networks period. Their programming standards continue to slip (with or without Palin) into the lowest levels of mediocrity. Such a shame since there is a dearth of quality programming about nature and science.
