Jul 12th 2009 6:35AM This is a disgrace. First of all, the photo used in this article is downright frightening and not an adequate portrayal of what a real witch is at all(nor would any of the Charmed cast be, either, though). Ugh.
I am a real witch. Cackling is not a favorite past-time; I laugh like anyone else. Witches are healers and often well-schooled in the arts and sciences. I know...its entertainment, but its perpetuating a myth that has been so difficult for true witches to break free from. I'm saddened to see how little ground we've actually gained to still be viewed in this light. You might say I'm being far too sensitive, but what if your profession depicted you as a frightening creature with a taste for evil..... I'm sorry, but THAT scares even a real witch a good deal. I wish that my kind could be given the benefit of the doubt in this new millenium, and looked upon as intuitive healers who only wish to improve the world. We're not seductresses, hexers or haters. Stop portraying us as such, PLEASE!

I add salt-free baby carrots and salt-free green beans to her food, and give her the occasional organic wheat bunny cracker or cheerios snacks. Simple, close to nature, whole---that's my motto.

Sep 2nd 2007 4:02AM My favorite color is green. The stone looks like Russian Diopside or Green Quartz. Maroon/burdungy Raspberry Quartz is found in South Africa, in Pella, and is very rare. I'd love to think its a diamond, but even if its not, its a delicious color! I'll be watching to see what the experts find.

I have a family member that said the same thing once---then, she discovered the almighty gym.......low and behold, she's become a colossol b***h, dyed her hair cheap blonde, forgotten most of her wardrobe, and sits silently at family functions, acting as though her family is a bore to her. MInd you, we supported her when she was fat and 'happy', now we're not good enough to be seen in public with her wrinkly high and mighty butt. Sound like anyone we're talking about here? What, does weight loss mean the loss of one's sense of humor and fun? Maybe Star's husband has had enough of his haughty wife doing nothing more than rubbing folks the wrong way. If you've got some talent Star, why not use it to get some real work and shut up already?
As for Babs.......get a whole new VIEW(cast!). Start over.
And Elisabeth.....who died and left you the police of other women's bodies? AHEM!
