Talking Travel with Pico Iyer and a book give-away {Gadling}

Mar 18th 2009 9:06PM Bali is such a popular tourist destination that it's easy to overlook how deep the Balinese culture runs. The essence of Bali is so overlaid with tourism; I want to capture the essence of life of villages say, 20 kilometers out of Ubud. I think Bali is indeed a magical place, but not in the way we tourists perceive it.
