Woman paralyzed after bad turbulence on Continental Airlines flight {Gadling}
Apr 22nd 2009 5:11PM It might be that USA domestic airlines leaves the seatbelt on because of the liability. With the current climate of Americans that like to sue for anything. I understand the view of a company to prevent these. Consumer tend to sue for a scratch , as long as they get their money.
There are already people of that Hudson flight that is going to sue the airline because the were safe and not killed in a crash landing. So let me say, i understand that Americans have create such a climate that companies are afraid of stupid lawsuites.
Woman paralyzed after bad turbulence on Continental Airlines flight {Gadling}
Apr 21st 2009 11:04PM Tell that to that stubborn lady that didn't pay attention to the sign. Maybe paralyzed for life. But just her a good reason to sue the company and retired comfortable with her millions.
People don't take responsibilities in to their own hands. Complaining about the seatbelt light is on during the flight but once being hurt during turbulence, are the first in line at the lawyer office to try to get compensation.
Galley Gossip: The flight attendant was a mess! {Gadling}
Apr 16th 2009 8:20PM Different Airline got different policy. European airline always setup a bar at the back and ask the pax to get it themselves. AirFrance FA even told me that they don't bring drinks and that I should get it myself at the back. Anyway, shouldn't appearance been corrected by the Flight supervisor or Purser if it is a mess. I doubt that most pax would care about an appearance of a FA look a bit untidy. Although, if a FA is smelly, then I would avoid such FA as well.
Should Russian airline S7 apologize to the blind passenger they refused? {Gadling}
Mar 25th 2009 3:49PM But the blind person is not accompanied by a guardian?? You cannot expect flight attendant to look after him 24/7 and taking him on and off the plane. Usually they require a guardian to travel with such person.

Galley Gossip: Lost in first class {Gadling}
Mar 12th 2009 12:55PM Maybe the father was on a businesstrip and his ticket was paid by the company. First class is expensive if you have to shell out the money for those seats. But decide to have a biz trip combine with a short holiday with his family. If I am going to nyc i would rather spend my money useful then on firstclass seats.
