Oct 3rd 2012 3:25PM At minimum, the parents of each of these kids should take away all of their toys: TV, cell phones, internet, dvd players, cars if any, everything mechanical or electronics. Buy them a book, ground them, make them read and do housework. grounded for a long enough time that it teaches them a thing or two. also, the school system is no help in dumbing down the kids. I hear in NC they have stopped teachin cursive writing. printing only. what the heck is that about. I dont careif we have typewritten computerized info or not, texting, etc. What if the children need to read something that was written. or perhaps go outside of NC? Not knowing how to read writing is absolutely nuts. At least a private school here is teaching their kindergarden class cursive and print as well. Dumbing down society for the next generation of home invasions.....

Aug 13th 2012 11:10AM What about the fact that they used to have the practice of cutting off the right hand of a thief, thus making him known to everyone as well as embarassment by forcing him to eat with the left hand, which in itself was another nasty since they had to use that hand to "wipe" with after using the toilet...
What else do you do with cut off hands but bury them, most likely together...

Mar 11th 2009 12:04PM I believe MJ should be legal, take the crime out of it, put the dealers out of work, tax it and sell it like cigarettes and alcohol, with the same no drink and drive, no smoke it and drive laws. it was around for many years longer than we have been around here, and biblically speaking, God does not make junk. things of the earth, like trees grass, plants, natural things, on top of the fact that it is used for medicinal purposes. It should be legal to grow your own. if it were legal i would smoke it. it helps glaucoma and cancer patients and truely is not comperable to cocaine and crack and herion and the actual drugs that are such a problem. i have a great job, well paid, never smoked at work and never call off ill. used it for many years and stopped only because it is not legal and was not worth doing jail time. politicians probably still smoke it, they ought to make it legal for a trial run of a year or so and calculate how much crime and such is effected. illegal of course for kids under 18, and obviously no on the job or military activeduty, but off work, off the clock, in the privacy of your own home.. if God created it, I know it is not a bad thing.
