for those heavy duty people and charge THEM more! That extra weight

Nov 16th 2010 3:01PM Is it rude at a party when you are talking to someone, deep in conversation and someone comes up, interrupts and the person you are talking to turns around and leaves you hanging to talk to them? This happened to me a couple of times this weekend and I thought it was very rude of both the person who interrupted and the person who ignored me to listen to someone else.

Jan 11th 2010 1:07PM I don't understand why most of you think Conan got the short end of the stick...it was Conan who started this whole debacle by threatening to leave NBC if they didn't give him the Tonight Show so they pretty much forced Jay Leno to "retire" and then offered him the earlier slot, which Leno never really wanted to begin with. Now they are offering him 30 minutes? Who got the short end of the stick? LENO! Crybaby Conan will still get to keep the Tonight Show and still have an hour show. How is THAT the short end of the stick?

Jan 8th 2010 1:29PM I'm glad Jay Leno ripped NBC...he wasn't the one who wanted to retire. It was NBC who forced him out because Conan O'Brian went crying to the network that if they didn't give him the Tonight Show he would leave NBC. They should have let him walk because they shot themselves in the foot. In order to keep from having to pay out Conan's contract, they should give Jay the Tonight Show for 45 minutes and follow it with idiot Conan for 45 minutes rather than giving Jay 30 minutes and Conan an hour. It's ridiculous to give Jay's show only 30 minutes. If that happens, I will watch Jay at 11:30 and then switch to Nightline afterwards.

Nov 28th 2009 9:33PM To all you Conan admirers who are over 35---don't you realize you are not the demographic NBC was hoping to get when they threw Leno off the Tonight Show and replaced him with Conan. They probably figured you people would already be in bed. Jokes on them. Conan stinks and the demographic isn't what NBC wanted. Too bad. They made the mistake of replacing a funny guy (Leno) with a not funny Conan.
