Continental #1 in Fortune mag {Gadling}
Mar 3rd 2009 6:17PM I do not recall flying Continental in all my flying. Hard to imagine they have been able to keep up the score for so many years in a row.
I have not flown on Southwest either but they sure seem like a great airline to fly and work for from what I hear.
I have flown Alaska Airlines a lot and have always found them be a great airline.
I have not enjoyed Delta that much tough but United was my least favorite.

What do backpackers do in Venice? Check it out {Gadling}
Mar 3rd 2009 6:04PM College days, what fun. Backpacking through Europe would be a blast. Not sure I'd be doing these kind of antiques but they are hilarious to watch.

Shrink Your Waistline to Shink Your Footprint {Green Daily}
Mar 3rd 2009 5:56PM Interesting point here and provides another point into the whole going green approach. Also good for your health.
As for the comment above, well, read up on who the body works. There is a baseline calorie level that is required to maintain a certain weight. Just as it takes more energy to move a big rock vs. a small one the same to maintain a larger mass then a smaller mass.

EPA Announces 2008's Top 10 Energy Star Cities {Green Daily}
Mar 3rd 2009 5:42PM This list only reflects large cities. What about the numerous smaller communities and cities across the nation? I guess they are not big enough to notice on the national scene. But if you add them up they sure are a big contender.

Massive Mansion to get Green Certification {Green Daily}
Mar 3rd 2009 5:39PM Interesting, while it is a big house they are doing what they can to make it eco-friendly. Also if you have the resources to buy such a place they may well have earned it.
As the above comment says it might be a good way to advertise the new green technologies that this house is using. It could mean that other people will incorporate similar ideas into their new and existing homes.
But on the other hand it could be like fat-free or organic, you see it everywhere and the whole concept has been "watered" down.

Oklahoma Bikers May Get to Run Red Lights Legally {Green Daily}
Mar 3rd 2009 5:31PM How ever the sensors work it can be frustrating sitting there when no other cars are around. This can happen at night in a small town. No cars just a red light.
While this might be confusing to a driver behind the motorcycle (as in they might be on the phone and just follow the bike across) it still is an intriguing idea.
It seems like they would need to do a lot of educating so drivers of cars will understand what is happening.
I was visiting the state it would also be confusing even if from a distance I observed a motorcycle "running" a red light.

Planting Corn for Ethanol Worse Than Leaving Land Uncultivated {Green Daily}
Mar 3rd 2009 5:18PM It is always good to investigate and determine if what we think is true. Seems like we may have overestimated on ethanol.
Next question is who is behind the Duke study? Did they have an agenda or is this quality genuine truth?
We can develop alternate energy so we can life cleaner.
