Mar 3rd 2009 11:50AM Visited Macchu Picchu a couple years ago. The area is incredibly stunning! All travelers should spend some time in Ollantaytambo on the way to MP. It is a magical village.
Also try backpacking the Ayacucho region. It is beautiful.
