Are you America's "most frustrated traveler"? {Gadling}

Oct 25th 2010 8:36PM I was in the military and had orders to be stationed back in the US from a three year tour in Panama. My first objective was to fly to New York where my car had been going through a complete restoration while I served our country overseas. I booked a flight into New York. I was so excited! I had never been to New York!

My flight arrived right on time. My friend was waiting for me to grab my luggage and hop in his car for a quick ride to pick up may car. Except, he wasn't there. I looked, I called, I searched. He looked for me, he called me, he searched for me. I was standing right where I said I was and he was standing right where he said he was...300+ miles away in another airport.

Who knew there were three airports to choose from in New York? Not me! I felt like the Home Alone kid. Totally alone in a HUGE city I had never been to and my flight to the correct airport wasn't until the next afternoon.

The good news was, my friend's sister was able to pick me up and I got a quick night time tour of New York. (I have yet to actually see NY!) The bad news is, I brought the Panama weather with me and the worst, and hottest heat wave New York had ever experienced happened the night I was stuck in New York.

Jul 11th 2010 1:35PM Why would you capitalize 'bible?" If it were being referred to as 'Jewish Bible' or 'Books of the Bible', or whatever title a specific religion decides to call their bible, then you would capitalize it. Other books, such as novels, murder mysteries (can the bible be in that category?), and children fairy tales (Oh, the bible is definitely in THAT category!) are capitalized when referred to by their titles.
And just for the record, I do not capitalize god either. And before you "burn me" in (your) hell. You can't, I don't believe in hell either! lmao.

Combat Brownies {Slashfood}

May 27th 2010 2:43PM Clearly, anyone that has never served in the US military has absolutely no room for any comment. This is perfectly normal and acceptable behavior for any Veteran or soldier. No room for error. Tis better to have a 26 page recipe, then waste the ingredients trying over and over and over again to make brownies that last three years after a combat jump! Whooah!

When Dining Is Deadly - What Can I Get You Folks? {Slashfood}

May 18th 2010 9:00PM The Good Samaritan Act prevents ANY person from being sued for attempting to save the life of another person. The Act protects you from anything that may happen to the victim. Your employer does not have the authority to tell you it is illegal to save another person's life. And truly, would you, and could you stand there and watch a person die without helping? If you could do that...I suggest you find another line of work...like working in a cave where you can't hurt anyone. And get your head out of your as...

Springtime at Paris Las Vegas - the ultimate romance itinerary? {Gadling}

Apr 22nd 2010 5:16PM Another (FREE) entertainment option that should not be missed is the Dueling Piano Show at the Napolean Lounge in the Paris. It is the best night of fun and music you will be involved with. Yes, your involvement makes the show spectacular! YOU pick the songs they perform! The show starts nightly at 9pm and goes non-stop til 1 am. I promise, this was hands down, no contest, one of the most fun nights we had in Vegas! Go see it! You will not be disappointed and you can't beat the price!
