Feb 27th 2009 1:12PM One of the seminars the company I worked for offered was Cabin Safety and at the seminars there has been plenty of info provided to all members regarding their role in the safety of flight.
As an academic I had a number of FAs taking courses in aviation safety or a few that were already holding a private pilot's license.

Feb 27th 2009 1:07PM Where is all the CRM in this?? When teaching the course one of the issues that comes up is the team efforts necessary to make a flight safe.
There are so many mishaps that could have been prevented if everyone worked as a team.
Probably would never know if the icing would have caused a problem, but then would we need to take a chance?
