Ryan Dunn at Double the Legal Alcohol Limit at Time of Crash {PopEater}

Jun 23rd 2011 1:02AM Sober and with some driving ability, no. He was driving one of the greatest sports car in the world, the 911 GT3. He probably got up to speed, swerved and braked at the same time, and the rear came round on him.

It's a shame, but hey. You can't play around with those cars. Drive them right and they're wonderful, screw around and they'll bite you, like what happened here.

Santa Monica Latest City to Fight to Get Circumcision Ban on Ballot {ParentDish}

Jun 6th 2011 3:29PM What? As an un-circumcised male, I can tell you that intercourse is not painful, it just isn't. Nor for that matter is cleanliness an issue. I run a soapy finger through it when showering and I don't experience smegma or odor or anything of the sort.

And nor do you need to retract the foreskin when having sex, it should do so naturally once the male reaches adolescence. I'm sorry but your argument sounds like a bunch of collected misinformation, not real-world experience.

Of course, the whole point is that there's no real legitimate need to be circumcised, only for certain religions and for aesthetics. If an adult male finds one of those to be important enough, it's his choice, but it should be just that, his choice.

Jun 6th 2011 3:16PM That's just it. No one would approve of parents tattooing an infant or giving their infant a serious body piercing for aesthetic purposes, but the choice of whether or not to be circumcised is made by someone other than the owner of said penis everyday.

It's a matter of personal rights and choice, it isn't legislating that you have to do something to yourself or have to act a certain way, it's guaranteeing the rights of future citizens to self-determination, at least in regards to circumcision.

Jun 6th 2011 3:12PM Actually, most of those statistics are so nominal they are almost non-existant in real life. If anything, it's just a negative encouragement to say circumcision prevents disease. If you sleep around with multiple partners unprotected, it doesn't matter, you're still rolling the dice that you'll come into contact with an STD or infection.

Jun 6th 2011 3:10PM Please don't breed. Honestly, an animal penis? We are animals, just the smartest and most self-aware. That mentality is exactly why this kind of bill is on the table.

Jun 6th 2011 3:06PM Ugh, no. Uncircumcised infants need only be washed externally with mild soap and water, like any other infant. In infants, the passage of urine serves to clean the inside of the foreskin and that last until adolescence, when the foreskin is able to be retracted naturally, at which point the male is old enough to wash himself.

Jun 6th 2011 3:02PM The foreskin is a sensitive part of the penis, in fact the most sensitive. And it protects the sensitive tissue of the head, which becomes somewhat numbed after circumcision.

In a case of phimosis or something similar, circumcision becomes a valid medical option if drug treatments to remove the scar tissue fail. But the issue is the choice to circumcision as in the vast majority of cases it is done for the parent's religion or aesthetics.

In your son's case, if he made an informed decision regarding his own body, then that's just it, it was his own body and his choice regarding it. And that's why the infant ban is being promoted.

Boy, 6, Takes Family Minivan Out on Grocery Run {ParentDish}

California's proposed shark fin ban stirs up debate over global politics of culinary delicacies {Gadling}

Apr 13th 2011 12:55PM I actually have to say I'd be in favor of this, especially going on how they collect the fins. If they were fishing for shark, caught one, and used it for as many things as possible, I would say responsible fishing of them is fine. But if they're just scalping the sharks and tossing them back, that's just cruel and obnoxious. The animal's giving you life with the energy you gain by eating it, at least have some respect for that and use as much of the animal as possible.

First Drive: 2012 Ferrari FF {Autoblog}

Apr 12th 2011 9:31PM This looks like a boxier Panamera, not that I don't like it, but it's kind of un-Ferrari save the borrowed California taillights, though in real life it may look more alluring much like the F430.

Still, I'm really annoyed that the slappy-paddle gearbox is all that's available in the FF. What the heck happened to a real manual trans? And in a Ferrari of all things? I don't know, stack this against a GTO (not goat, Ferrari) or F40 and it just doesn't seem right. I kind of get the feeling Enzo really wouldn't approve.
