Apple and Best Buy: When good retailers go bad {WalletPop}
Jan 22nd 2010 3:50PM Best Buy????
Maybe, sometimes not.
They always push extended warranty. But when that something happens, they take their darn good time, trying to help solve the problem, and offer excuse after excuse why they should have to do anything, because they feel you (the buyer) didn't notify them correctly of a problem.
I bought a large TV. In time, it developed a 2inch wide vertical line, from the top to the bottom of the screen. Excuse after excuse is what I received. Finally, I resorted tto lets go to court.!! They then backed off, and since they couldn't repair the problem, after 2 attempts, they allowed me to get a replacement TV of my choice for just a few bucks.
Poor customer relations, at best.
BEWARE of their extended warranty as well as their regular warranties. They love to hide from promised responsibilty.
Your paltry Delta miles aren't accepted here {Gadling}
Feb 22nd 2009 10:10AM Delta sucks. They also accept Hawaiian miles, they say. They rejected my request to fly cross country first class to Raleigh, on the basis of no seats and wrong days.
The fact was that out of 4 flight segments, one seat each way was taken, on 2 of the flights.
Then the big winner was that they would not say, what the right days were.
Never again.
