Sep 1st 2011 3:17PM What a stupid idea. What about the homeowners who had the integrity to pay back their mortgages according to their agreement with the bank. Just because people bought homes beyond their means doesn't make it right to let them off the hook. This idea will never fly.

2. Continue to use your electronic device even after the flight attendant has told you to stop.
3. Wear a tank top after just completing a work out.
4. Stay on your cell phone right up until take off and get on it again at touch down.
5. Stare at the work your seatmate is doing.
Aug 29th 2010 9:11AM No surprise here. Toney is just an overweight, out of shape boxer who was probably broke and needed some money.
Jul 9th 2010 10:35AM Free agency is the problem - athletes, some of them garden variety, are making outrageous incomes forcing teams to charge unbelievable ticket prices and the fans continue to pay those prices even when they are worried about losing their jobs, if they even have a job. But they continue to pay, so who's at fault?
However, Lebron gave Cleveland 7 years of results they never had before with weak supporting casts. He left $30 million on thge table to go somewhere else where the team is concerned about winning. People leave their corporate jobs all the time, most within 7 years, for what they hope to be a better opportunity.
Gilbert showed his true lack of class to all this with his staement about Lebron being a coward. Owners can be very rich, but they don't have to have any class. If Gilbert was a smart basketball man he would have given Lebron better teammates to work with, but I guess since he filled the arena every night he didn't feel the need to spend more. Not the vision one would expect from a "leader".
Mar 22nd 2010 9:56AM How about leaving the guy alone. It is none of our business how he goes about handling his personal problems. Ask him golf questions. I can assure you that no interviewer would entertain answering any questions about their own personal lives.
Dec 29th 2009 12:24PM His office can deny all they want, but it's quite obvious he was drunk. His office denials are to be expected, but, face it, he's drunk. Another reason why all these people need to be voted out - both parties.
Aug 17th 2009 9:28AM Jay Mariotti should stick to a subject he may know something about and not try to bring attention to himself - something lots of sports writers try to do. Golf is not his speciality. He's clueless on this one.
Feb 15th 2009 11:45AM This is boxing. What surprises you? This isn't exactly the most honorable sport out there. Look at history.
