And we (the Western world) have no say as to how different cultures should live their lives.
We may be shocked and sickened but cultural differences are not easily acceptable. And even in our culture, pedophillia is rife!

Feb 19th 2009 5:08AM I'm the mother of 3 kids in their 20's (over 22). They STILL seem to think I know nothing and THEY'VE discovered the universe.
I'm still an embarassment when their friends are around but I've learned to take the ups and downs in my stride, and I love them unconditionally.
Reaching 22 wasn't really a turning point in their lives. I havn't lost hope.

A first date can be enjoyed (or not), however little it costs. And why waste money on something that might not be followed up on.

In my experience a LDR can put an enormous strain on a relationship. You're always pre-occupied with when you'll see him again, or how many days/hours you'll have together, or when you're coming or when he's going etc.
But as you say, LOVE conquers all...
A Good Marriage Equals Good Sleep {Lemondrop}
Feb 14th 2009 4:35AM There's a lot of controversy on this subject.
I doubt that a good marriage=better sleep. I'm in a wonderful relationship with a guy I really love but I find it impossible to sleep in the same bed as him. He snores and gets up more than once during the night. And he wakes up much earlier than I do.
More than one survey has been done on the subject so let's not generalise.
